I've heard rumors of a Rip for Boozer deal.

Would make sense if Boozer wasn't going to opt out, but it could potientally be Rip for nothing if Boozer signed elsewhere.

Crazy trade rumor: Rashad McCants and Sebastian Telfair of the Timberwolves to the Knicks for former Wolf Stephon Marbury.

According to numerous league sources, interest in a trade for center Brad Miller has been lukewarm and might take some time to heat up as the February trade deadline approaches. As a result, the Kings are believed to have expanded their list of available players since the season's outlook is so grim.
The one player consistently producing -- swingman John Salmons -- could be among those offered merely because he could command the most in return. The relevant question, of course, is whether the Kings see him as part of the long-term solution.

I would LOVE to get McCants and Bassy for Marbury.

McCants is a scorer, and we need a two guard with range.

But As for Brad Miller Im watching ESPN2 and Bucher says the Mavericks are interested in acquiring him...

The Knicks are still looking for help in the backcourt, and Charlotte's Raymond Felton, Portland's Sergio Rodriguez, and Denver's Chucky Atkins are reportedly options.

Felton, who makes $4.1 million and will be a restricted free agent this summer, has been shopped by the Bobcats.

New York likes Rodriguez, but the Blazers are going to want something significant in return.

The Nuggets have Atkins buried on the bench, but he is more of a shooter than he is a playmaker.
Out of the three I would like to see Sergio. We dont need Felton, and Atkins isnt needed. We need another playmaker off the bench and Rodriguez could fill that need nicley.

In a sign that both players are getting closer to returning, Eddy Curry and Danilo Gallinari participated in the walk-through portion of practice.

Gallinari has suffered from a bulging disk in his back and has been resting for several weeks. Curry has had knee pain that has kept him out of the lineup all season.

"It's feeling better every day," said Curry.
We need the bodies.

I'm with Yankees. I think DeMario Carter would be a great player for your team.

What would a deal be based around on their side?

Idk, they didnt say, they just said given the Mavericks change from uptempo to halfcourt, Brad Miller would be a great addition for him.

He also said they were showing interest in acquiring him. Didnt name any players they could possibly trade though.

There was no swapping of uniforms before tipoff, but it wouldn't have been entirely absurd if various Kings and Bulls had done just that. The two teams, according to league sources, had trade talks earlier this season that have been tabled for now. The Bulls need frontcourt help, but they appear to have more interest in second-year center Spencer Hawes than in veteran Brad Miller or even forward Kenny Thomas. That could change, but the question on the Bulls' side is whether they will part ways with forward Drew Gooden (who has an expiring contract) and/or a young player such as Joakim Noah or Tyrus Thomas. According to the sources, Chicago offered guard Larry Hughes in the previous discussions. The 11-year veteran has a contract nearly identical to Miller's, with approximately $25 million owed to him before it ends after next season.

The Kings were offered Brandon Bass and Jerry Stackhouse for Ron Artest when Josh Howard was the guy they really wanted. Now, it sounds as if Howard is far more available than he was then. What's more, the reports of a possible three-team deal with Dallas, Charlotte and Oklahoma City reminded me of a recent conversation in which I was told by a league source that the Kings were part of talks involving the Thunder (with Earl Watson in the equation) and a third team. Don't be surprised if something eventually goes down that is a variation of some of these pieces and involves the Kings. Sacramento Bee

And as a reminder, Miller isn't the only one being shopped here. The Kings are open to almost all possibilities and John Salmons - who is averaging a career- high 19 points per game on 47.6 shooting and a career-high 39.6 percent from three-point range - is near Miller on the list of available players.

The Grizzlies are talking to other teams, and I was told to keep an eye on Sacramento. Not sure what players would be involved. Just passing on what is rumored between connected NBA people outside of Memphis.
