Yeah I'd of put Steph over him probably, but I really don't have a problem with him being there.

According to an individual familiar with the Rockets’ plans, they are confident they would be able to move Lin and Asik’s contracts because unlike their failed efforts to trade Asik last season, they would be looking to clear cap room, rather than bring back rotation players with similar contracts .

Cant wait to get the last laugh

Also, unlike their attempts during the season, they now HAVE to trade him to a team that can absorb his entire contract and convince that team to give up their shot at free agency for a 5/8 center

Same per36 numbers as last year
Led the league in rebounding, or was top 3
Only a 1 year deal for a defensive anchor

Its so worth it to take him for free

He's not for free tho

What team with cap space is gonna say "hey, let's not go after Melo, and instead let's trade for Omer Asik!!"

Lin is an entirely different animal. They'd have to give up an asset, maybe even multiple assets

Kevin Love is willing to consider a long-term deal with the Celtics, sources tell Jackie MacMullan of ESPNBoston.com, but the Wolves aren’t thrilled with what the Celtics can offer, MacMullan hears. The Wolves privately maintain they’ve received better offers from Bulls and others, according to MacMullan.

Danny just has to dip more into his assets to get it done

Sully, Olynyk, #6, and another 1st or two should get it done (with Bass, Bogans, and Faverani as salary addons)
