Reggie is good, lamb really isn't (coming from a uconn fan)

But those picks are worthless. Boston has #6, #17, and like 5 other 1sts in the next 3 years that seem like they won't be in the 20s

Like, hypothetically, would you rather have Reggie/Lamb/25/23/27, or Sully/Olynyk/6/17/12/19 ?

I really think you guys are missing my main point here: if the Timberwolves want good 1st round picks (multiple of them), the Celtics is the best option.

If Love goes to Boston then Minny won't be getting good picks.

Cavs receive the Grizzilies 2015 first-round pick (protected 1-5 and 15-30 in 2015, 1-5 and 15-30 in 2016, 1-5 in 2017 or 1-5 in 2018, unprotected in 2019) ()

Cavs receive the Heat's 2015 first-round pick (top 10 protected in 2015 and 2016, unprotected in 2017)

Considering the recent turmoil surrounding the Grizzlies & being in the strong West, and the Heat's potential disband in free agency, both of those picks are immensely more valuable than the Celtics draft picks.

Define good.

Brooklyn's situation doesn't look good. Deron Williams significantly regressed, they have a bunch of older players, etc. I can easily see the Nets being a 15-18 pick over the next few years. If you simply add Kevin Love to the Celtics, for Sullinger/Love, that team still significantly lacks a defensive center. That team could be a 5-8 seed in the East, or it could be a Top 10 pick (Hawes-Thompson-Deng-Waiters-Irving is probably just as talented as [Insert Center Here]-Love-Green-Bradley-Rondo).

Love is a very good player; no matter what team you trade him to, their picks will be worse (higher in number).

If he wants to win, I'd say Houston is definitely his best shot though.

It is a foregone conclusion though that Melo will be the superstar of our generation that will never get a ring.
