Grant Hill spent the day with the Knicks and said he is "very serious" about the possibility of signing with the team.

"I've always been a fan of the Knicks and the city," Hill said. "Obviously, they've gone through a lot the last few years, but I'm a big fan of Donnie Walsh and Mike D'Antoni, so I'm definitely interested. I'm just taking it all in."

D'Antoni spoke about what Hill may be able to bring to the Knicks.

"Yes, he's going to be 37 and you don't know when he's going to hit the wall, but he hasn't hit the wall yet," D'Antoni said. "If he was 25, we couldn't get him anyway."

Hill should go to a contender. Why NY? The money I'd assume.

Hill is one of those players who deserves a championship.. He should go to Boston.

lol, no. Mexi, he would get burned haha. He isn't the same Marion. But I guess they could try.
naw, i think he can still guard some 2-guards.
but then again, i didnt see him at all this past season.

offensively it would work though i think. especially with Kidd

Despite reports that the Trail Blazers were preparing to make a major bid for Knicks restricted free agent David Lee, a coaching source familiar with the situation said Portland is more interested in the Lakers' Lamar Odom. And the source described the Odom situation with Portland as "lukewarm." The Blazers and Lee's agent, Mark Bartelstein, discussed the situation early in the negotiating period, but Portland was preoccupied at that time with its pursuit of Hedo Turkoglu. Now that Turkoglu has spurned the Blazers and committed to the Raptors, Portland is deliberating what to do with its $9 million in cap space. The Blazers have been exploring point-guard options for some time, but the coaching source said Sixers free agent Andre Miller isn't the answer because of his sub-part shooting ability.

Rumors now that Blazers are more interested in Odom than Lee. I'd much rather have Odom, he's exactly what we need. He's SF who's a great rebounder and can move to the 4 spot. Plus we'll be paying the money to a starter rather than Lee who would be a backup.

lakers would probably match.

another rumor is that odom's agent is fielding offers to give to the lakers because they will probably match.

LO to Portland makes alot more sense then them pursing Lee.

And I dont get the reasoning behind us trying to bring in old players, especially if their going to stall Dub C and Gallo's production, even though I think Hill could end up starting at the 2. I would rather him come off the bench though.

Brown looked so amazing in the playoffs that the Lakers decided not to use him in the finals.
I read that phil did that on purpose because he didnt want to increase brown's value in facy a lot...take that with a grain of salt. But it is interesting.

Hmm. Whattya think of that lineup maple? Personally I like it a lot. Dirk drawing double-teams and dishing it out to Redd already sounds nastyyyy.

Yeah it does nasty, and JET off the bench. It would make us contenders but in that second range I think, not in the Spurs or Lakers class. But who knows, just takes one Kobe Bryant injury or another Manu injury and things could be wide open, still a lot of work to do if we even want to contend for anything though.

The Cleveland Cavaliers got some bad news followed by some potentially terrific news on Sunday. In a last-ditch effort to recruit Trevor Ariza away from the Houston Rockets, LeBron James told Ariza he would remain with the Cavaliers past 2010, according to a person close to Ariza.

And after this, like I said. If he left now he'd be a bigger douche then Boozer, and one of the most unloyal players in the NBA.

LOL! Why would he do that just to get Ariza? Ariza's good, but not enough to guarantee the Cav's a championship even with Shaq around. Still need moar pieces.
