Exactly. Everyone acts like they are totally screwed but their entire pitch was "2015 we can sign people."

I just see that as to big of a gamble for Melo to make.  And I'm not the least bit sold that Phil Jackson has what it takes, or Derrick Fisher.

Hey, a week ago it sounded like there was no chance Melo stays, now it appears to be the exact opposite. If Monday rolls around and Melo is back in NY, then obviously Phil is capable of something, lol.

Hey, even I think he would leave. But if he stays, then he must have said something right. If he can convince him to stay, what's to say he can't convince others to join the team in 2015?

I think getting Melo to resign with New York and getting a big name player to come from somewhere else to sign with New York after another poor season are two seperate things. I've always said, the majority of every player in the NBA is like a RFA. If a team will match the offer their free agent got from another team then that player will return to his team more times than not.

Amare can always get better, calderon and batgani is reunited, melo is melo; shump, jr, or TH can breakout at anytime.

It's really a coin flip. But the Knicks can deffinently be very good.

I'm just wondering. Like what changed today that would put LA in serious contention.

Tomorrow morning there will probably be a report putting Chicago in the lead.

And I don't get it. Chicago is easily his best chance to win a ring. As soon as next year.

Has higher priorities than winning, clearly. I don't get it either though.
