I said majority of the rest of his career. I mean I just can't fathom why he would want to waste two years at the very least of his prime playing for the Knicks. And how do they get better, moving forward? In the East, rim protection is the only way you have a chance to beat whichever team LeBron is on. The Knicks just traded an elite rim protector (though he's not worth his contract) and landed Sam Dalembert, whose desire is questioned and ability is more suited to bench play.
Bargs and Stoudemire aren't going to start defending the rim all of a sudden.
The Knicks' only chance of getting better any time soon is if the East gets even worse and they start to look better.
