Pels are 9-2 in games decided by 3 points or less, that's not only the best win percentage in the league in that scenario but also the most wins. Didn't see that one.

Does anybody think Chicago might be intentionally trying to position themselves as the 4 seed so they can avoid Cleveland until the ECF's?

Doesn't seem like something Thibs would do. I didn't think they were that much of a contender with Rose, so I expected a decent fall off despite Rose not playing that spectacular this year.

Yeah I doubt they are doing it, but if they are, I think it's a wise decision. Kind of like last year how the nets dropped the last game on purpose so they could face Toronto instead of Chicago.

I never quite understood the idea behind wanting to avoid a certain team until XY. Seems like you wanna meet someone early in the playoffs rather than when they got comfortable.

Or is it about the off chance that they get upset earlier?

Yeah exactly. You want them to have as many chances as possible to get upset before you play them. Hence why nobody WANTS to be in Kentucky's bracket.

(not sure if you follow CBB)

I don't, but I'm assuming upsets are much more common in MM than in the playoffs, no?

Yeah obviously, but the concept still withstands that the more rounds a team plays, the more likely said team is to be upset

Cavs up 20+ halfway through the 4th and LeBron is still in the game because he only has 13 points. Hilarious

I think OKC is the clear favorite for the 8 seed but when KD comes back I do think it will get even more interesting. Not for the reasons yall think, either.
