But I'm so fucking pumped right now. Upgrade QPon and roll with what you got next season. 50+ wins.

And I think we are giving Houston the 18th pick, great value for us.

Sixers are at 17 wins right now, and they still have the Lakers (twice), Knicks, Nuggets and Kings on the schedule.  Two more wins and Mob wins that bet.

The Wolves are in pretty good shape right now.  Lavine and Wiggins are stars in the making, Dieng is an efficient double-double machine when given the opportunity, and they have the best odds at a #1 this year.

Grab a shooter or two, figure out how to play defense, and there's no reason this team shouldn't be in the hunt for a playoff spot in two years.

What does Minny do if they get #1, though?

If they go Towns/Okafor, I'd imagine one of Pek/Dieng gets moved.

They'd probably try to move Pek, but he has 24M/2y left and has become quite injury prone so it might be hard.

More interesting is the whole Rubio project though. I wonder if they say fuck it and grab Russell if neither of the big men are available.

I'm not sure if the Cavs would waste their assets for him, but Pek is a good defender and rebounder. Trading the Haywood contract for him wouldn't be an awful idea

Idk if I'd say Lavine is a star in the making.

If his shot keeps falling at 40+% from three like it did over the last two months (and almost 50% in April), the sky's the limit for him.

If they're hell-bent on making him a PG, Rubio should be on the trade block.

If they're hell bent on making him a PG there is no chance he becomes a star
