Pistons president Joe Dumars said on Saturday that there is "no chance" that the team will trade the 15th pick.

There were rumors recently that Detroit might be looking to shop the pick, as well as mainstays Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince.

Dumars also stated that while he isn't shopping Hamilton or Prince, no one on the team is untouchable.

Got to love Dumars saying he isn't trading the people most want to be traded.

Nice Joe.

Detroit Expects Kwame To Exercise Option

Kwame Brown has until June 30 to pick up his player option for next season.

The Pistons fully expect him to do so.

Brown will make $4 million in 2009-10 under the terms of the option.

The Boston Celtics appear willing to make major roster changes to balance a chance for a championship run and future financial flexibility.

The Celtics offered Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo to the Detroit Pistons for a package that included Richard Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince and Rodney Stuckey, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Boston general manager Danny Ainge and Detroit’s Joe Dumars never spoke, but rather the Celtics had a lower-level executive make the pitch to a Pistons official over the past weekend, league sources said. Detroit immediately rejected the idea, and it never advanced to the two top executives speaking about particulars.

I think it was something where the Celtics made the offer than went "wait a minute, what did we just offer? Wow, dumb move on our part."

The Bucks have flipped Fabricio Oberto to the Pistons in exchange for Amir Johnson, according to a source.

Oberto was acquired by Milwaukee from San Antonio earlier on Wednesday.

RealGM Note: The move will save Detroit in their salary cap space pursuits, as Oberto's contract is non-guaranteed.

By non-guarenteed does that mean he won't even be a Piston next year?

Cause I'd like Oberto lol.

It means they can cut him without having to pay the remaining amount of his contract I believe.

Ohh, I read into that.
Hopefully they just cut him and offer him something small to keep him.

Good luck Amir.
