i dont see him being anywhere near as demanding as those two but that doesnt mean he cant be a leader. hes gonna be able to be a leader, and that team already has horford and hayward who are and have been leaders.

"bit" different

Cleveland ran 1051 isolation plays last season which led the league. Boston ran 483 isos, good for 28th most often.
Boston ran dribble handoffs 575 times, which led the league. Cavs ran 220, 29th most often.

There was a reason Isaiah was that much more efficient than Kyrie last year

Those two on another level, of course but im sure he learned some things from Lebron and having Kobe in your ear doesnt hurt

Neither Hayward or Al are really vocal leaders tho, they lead more by example

I expect Kyrie to be alot more vocal than we've seen with the Cavs

So @bnc, you think Hayward can lead better than Kyrie, is better and should be the main guy on that team?

So then dont ever bring up lebron making all those finals and losing as some accomplishment if its simply a failure because he came short of winning a ring
A single one? No not necessarily a success, also not a failure. 7 in a row? Yea that's impressive

And jesus no of course not. Boston's just getting closer to where they need to be.

On a successful team, you need a 1, 2, and 3 as well as supporting members. The Cavs had that with LeBron 1, Kyrie 1B, Love 3.

Boston in 16 had Isaiah as a 1B/2, Horford as a 3B/support, and Bradley and Jae as support. Now we have Kyrie with the slight upgrade to 1B, Hayward as a 3, and Horford still as a 3B/support. Still need a 2 or 2B out there before we're actually title contending
You're not giving Hayward nearly enough credit. Both he and Kyrie can be the second best player on a title team

whats your definition of a franchise guy then? lebron? if thats the case the league only has one franchise player.
A guy that moves the needle and can be the best player on a a title team. Bron, KD, Steph, AD, Harden, Russ, Giannis (soon at least) and a healthy Embiid would be one in the future as well as Towns. I hesitate to say CP3 because it's tough for teams to win when your best player is that short. But yea this is the list

I'm not sure which one of them is the better player. Earlier this summer many smart people were wondering if PG is better than Hayward, there's arguments both ways, I don't think Kyrie can be compared to Hayward

Lol at teams like pacers for instance fpr not trading paul George or other stars in conference.

If Boston and cleveland could make a deal with their number 1 trade chips while still likely meeting up in the ECF, any team can trade in conference

No more excuses
