idk about it being voided. they knew IT needed to heal still. this isnt like a mystery injury that they just found out about.

they arent voiding the nets pick

they want something else from boston, either jaylen, jayson, or the lakers pick. trading away IT was a much bigger blow PR-wise than expected, and having the trade cancelled honestly could destroy this locker room. Celtics almost have to accept whatever the Cavs want at this point, but Ainge is stingy as fuck.

they want the grizz or clippers pick fine. but not those other 3. they already won the trade, no need for koby to be this slimey

Maybe Danny Ainge shouldn't have publicly stated he made this trade because of Isaiah's hip, just a thought.

You mad

IT probably took the biggest hit in all of this.

Although weirder things have happened. He could have a mediocre, injury-riddled season and some desperate team would still max him.

im not denying that i am

its still not a good rep for altman to have as a new gm in the league. teams arent going to want to deal with a guy who publicly announces the deal and once he realizes he can get more renegs the deal

Id have no issue keeping Isaiah, i just dont know if Isaiah would want to stay in Boston now

Crowder has been complaining for years now about being replaced. Even if this trade is cancelled, he HAS to be moved now

If Isaiah could miss significant time this year, this is absolutely worth delaying, and not "slimy"

From what I was made aware, Boston sent all medicals to the Cavs prior to the trade. They were on the same page on isaiah prior to the trade being made official to the media.

Once Danny started talking about IT possibly not being ready for the season opener, it opened up the window for the Cavs to try to take more in return

From what you were made aware? lol

This is the first time Danny Ainge has actually pulled the trigger on dealing valuable assets, and one of the might have a bum hip. Shocking

But really, if Celtic doctors told Isaiah not to get surgery, and it turns out he actually needs surgery (could have been ready to go or close to by the beginning of the season), this is their fault.
