And I've said like 100 times, Amico gets a lot of his info directly from David Griffin. Well I haven't framed it like that, but he does. He's the Cavs mouthpiece. It use to be Jason Lloyd when Chris Grant was the GM.

Then he's saying exactly what you would expect him to say ^

I'm not disputing that. I'm basically saying he shouldn't dismiss what he says for Cavs info at least. He's not a national reporter anyway.

Rizzo is a Cleveland guy and is saying the same as Amico fwiw. I think if Wiggins was on the table the deal would be done by now.

I think the Cavs are offering him, but they want more from the Wolves than Love, and are unwilling to take back any bad contracts.

I still question why the Cavs would be offering Wiggins right now though. The Wolves would take Wiggins 3 months from now too. Should be waiting them out

Stephen A Smith went on Mike and Mike and said that Kevin Love is telling teams to not trade for him because he's going to go to Cleveland the following year anyway. Haven't seen anyone else report it, but uh, if that's the case, these bums ain't gettin Wiggins

If that's also the case then that means Kevin Love is without a doubt getting traded to another team haha

That would be fine. With a little bit of roster shuffling and a salary cap increase, we'll have max space next summer again. Could facilitate a S&T with Haywood's large non guaranteed contract as well

I like how Love went from "I would not resign in Cleveland" to "I only want to sign in Cleveland"

That's next offseason? Cleveland would have to gut it's roster to do that.

They would have to move quite a few guys but it's not impossible. I understand the reports that were constantly saying LeBron wants max money forever, but I'd bet he'd take a pay cut on a one year deal to fit in Love, than sign the max when the new TV deal is cut the following year

For the record, if I could somehow get LaVine involved coming back this way, I would trade Wiggins. Might be the only way. He's a perfect fit as a role player next to Kyrie/LeBron/Love. I can't imagine Minnesota would be up for that though.

Right now you are looking at $77.3M in salary for next season in 8 guys. By renouncing Haywood and Tristan Thompson you'll be down to $53.9M but you would lose Thompson in that scenario. Still probably $8+ million short of what you need for Love. Could renounce Waiters and Bennett to get there, or get creative and find a way.

Or, you know, S&T Bennett/Waiters, Haywood, and a pick to the TWolves once Love says he's signing in Cleveland...

Getting rid of Bennett and getting LeBron to take a pay cut on a one year deal as I speculated would work probably work. I'm not even saying this even has a 15% chance of happening, but it's not out of the realm of possibility and the fact that Kevin Love can threaten this to other teams works well in our favor.

The Rose Rule kicking in for Kyrie probably blows it all up anyway.

I think Wiggins is involved in a trade, I'm just listing reasons as to why he might not be.
