That would have been the worst trade in Browns history

I'm confused by this too. Wasn't he a Jets/Yankees diehard? I don't think he has a single post about either of those teams.

Yeah he was a massive New York asshole.

I just looked at the IPs and they far from match. Bleacher's all resonate around Yonkers, NY (which makes a lot of sense), and BNC's all resonate around Saskatchewan, Canada. He might have been using VPNs as either member, but as far as I can check he's clean

He was kneeling for like 3 games before he was noticed, it’s not cause he was lazy. Don’t be a moron.

Miracle on ice was about American capitalism trumping Soviet commmunism. If you don’t think race/politics have always been linked you’re either naive or extremely dense
Karpernick’s lazy ass sat on the bench before anthem before there was a kneel. Best go back and check that shit my friend. Calling me a moron when you’re the apologist here. Pretty sad tbh.

Miracle on Ice was about amateur “kids” upsetting the big, bad Soviets. You put your own spin on it tho.

I'm sorry, I must have missed both things Jemele has said that discriminated against a group of people. Schilling is an ass clown and he will be left out of the game of baseball moving forward. He can beg Kapler all he wants, nobody is hiring him to coach.
Why is Schilling an assclown!? Because you don’t agree with his values? That’s a very immature opinion you’ve got dude.

I tend to lean left with social issues and dont care where ppl take a piss, but i understand and respect those who have deep-root d religious values that contradict where society is heading. Religion is older than democracy.

I’m it even close to wrong on Kaepernick, it’s beyond stupid to think he was simply “too lazy” to stand for the anthem. He sat for the same reason he knelt, but he transition to kneeling after speaking to a vet about what would be more respectful.

And it’s rather convenient of you to ignore all of the other instances of sports and politics overlapping, but no there was much more going on with that game that just pros vs amateurs

Kaepernick was raised more white and privileged than I was. This kneeling for _____ was completely out of left field. It doesn't help he landed himself an activist girlfriend who I believe controls his social media accounts.

I'm also not ignoring anything. We'll have to agree to disagree and move on.... Or we can take this to the political forum. I don't want to hijack the NFL Gameday thread with this shit anymore than we already have.

Lol I happen to be Republican but you are right I don't agree with his values. That's not why have that opinion. I don't agree with the values of half the country, that doesn't mean I hate half the country,

Basically everyone who has every played with the guy says he is a prick. Just because he is a religious person doesn't mean he can treat people different than him like inferior pieces of shit. That's not an excuse for being a garbage he preaches hate. You can be open minded and Republican.

I'm a registered Republican myself but unless we're talking about his 38 Studios fiasco, or what he did to the Yankees, I wouldn't say Curt is an assclown. Preaches hate...how, when?

LOL, just because he was raised in a rich white family doesn't make his protest any more/less credible, he's speaking for those who no one is going to listen to. Like I said, it's beyond idiotic to think that his activisim was an excuse that he rolled with on the spot because he, as a professional athlete, was too lazy to stand for a national anthem.

There's no disagreeing on that though, you are just wrong. Sports and politics has always, and will always, be linked because sports is an excellet reflection of what is going on in society. Don't try to tell me it's not when the national anthem is played before every game and the NFL participates in some paid patriotism

Kaepernick is beyond privileged. His protest was also worthless. If he had any sort of message, it has long been lost. Overpaid NFL players that don't give a damn about people who actually live in poverty are kneeling to protest their own organization at this point. They can keep kneeling and look foolish. Some don't believe it is actually harming the league but they cant argue it's doing anything positive.

The fact you consider the National Anthem politics and not patriotism is everything wrong with your half of the discussion. How in the hell is sports any sort of a reflection of what's happening in today's society!? That might be the single dumbest comment I've read all year. Do you make LeBron James-type money to play a game? I know that I certainly don't.

Is Michael Bennett's taking a knee comparing to the black on black crime that continues to rise at beyond-alarming rates? Do the officials and their flags represent the police? LOL
