For a franchise that built a new park with a hill and a flag poll in the field of play to complain about a park is beyond ironic.

Fair enough! But it was changed this year :)

Fenway is what it is.  They built the ballpark in a congested area and didn't have a lot of room.  They did a pretty good job of building it, IMO.  I don't like the "cookie-cutter" ballparks.  It is an iconic place.
Looks like the Indians will be under a bit of pressure Wednesday.  Kluber will need to be sharp to hold the Yankees down.

It is a neat wrinkle. I was halfway joking with my original post. Fenway is iconic and shouldnt be changed much honestly. I just seriously dont understand the loading dock door in CF. It's an injury-risk and doesnt seem like it would take much to cover it up.

I dont for the life of me understand some of these roster choices made by ALL the managers. Verlander from relief? Just stick to what has gotten you there.

Is Dusty drunk? Strasburg isn't starting tomorrow because "he's a little under the weather"

Fuck that, you pitch through that especially when you've had regular rest and its an elimination game.

I mean, if a guy says he can't go he can't go

I think Strasburg is the one to blame. And also mike rizzo

But dusty is definitely the type to save guys for the future. Whether its a game 5 or certain relievers for later in the game etc

Joe Girardi should win Manager of the Year.  Hands down, no matter whether the Yankees win or lose the next game.

It must have been very tragic when Schilling had ketchup spill out of his hamburger during pre-game

Except ketchup is way thicker and way redder.  Plus it stains in a completely different shade of red.

I would challenge this, but Joe doesn't like challenges apparently

I disagree. The Twins were bad, they just played above expectations the second half. Next year they'll be a .500 team at best. I still say Girardi.

You can disagree all you want, but to call a team that had 100 loses and made the playoffs the next season as "bad" is indefensible.
Don't be shocked when Paul gets every single first place vote.
