G League is on the come up
This is true

We talked about Lamelo taking that route few months back

It’ll be the new way to go for kids not wanting to go go college

Its a poor argument when comparing Bron to anyone else but a guy who went 6 for 6

still gonna be hard for him. im fine with some big guys making the jump, like zion could(it would do him good for his diet), but guards are always too little

better competition in the Gleague

Look at this year. This kid would have faced Brandon Jennings or other guys like that. Like, real vets or 2 way guys

It definitely is. I still don't think it's the best option for these kids though unless their only goal is to get paid right away. Is there an example of a kid that has opted not to go to college and improved his draft stock? Brandon Jennings' stock didn't improve any, Ferguson's didn't improve any, Jeremy Tyler fell off the map, but those are also guys who went to play overseas, not the G-League. Let's see it work for somebody before we say "all top prospects should do this".

There is no good option for after high school for the one and done guys. The coaches in the G-League aren't going to be focused on your development because you're only there for a year, and same goes for the NCAA for that matter. They should just be allowed to enter the draft

That's a different argument though, and one that I agree with. Given the current system, the best option is still for the kids to go to college.

Jordan with the Cavs, or Jordan with the Bulls? Because Jordan's Bulls are one of the greatest teams of all time (not saying greatest to avoid the argument). Maybe they don't beat the Warriors, but they definitely beat the '14 Spurs.

And as for Warriors vs Jordan's Bulls, I think anybody who's logical would say that if the game were played with today's freedom of movement rules, the Warriors probably win. But if not, I'd take the Bulls.
Except LeBron didn’t have that Bulls roster so it’s not exactly a fair comparison. Those Bulls teams probably beat the spurs with either MJ or LeBron

There you go again with the selectivity

Michael beats a beat up laker squad. Does his job

Lebron beats a compromised warriors team(self inflicted), and hes lucky

Ok. We're done here
Not sure if you’ll get what I mean by this but Paulius is basically Stugotz

if your stock won't likely improve, might as well start making money

They’ll also get paid more in college too

Simons is bypassing because he can enter the draft, If Barrett or Reddish or Zion could enter the draft instead of going to Duke they would as well. It’s much different than going to the G league

the g league is literally a developmental league

Their goal is to groom as many NBA players as they can. They don't care about individual seasons other than winning can lead to good habits etc

You know this
