He was always my #1 option for the Browns before the Tate rumors, even tho titan over here trying to convince me otherwise, you bastard lol

Hahaha just saying, I like Tate, but I have a feeling he's going to end up with more $$$ than he's worth, anywhere. I'd take the value pick in the draft, myself.

Greg Robinson... wow dude looks like he's pushing blocking sleds around out there. Pass blocking is suspect but all the potential is there.

It's all about team needs for which OT goes first


If it's StLouis, it's gonna be Matthews. He's the better pass blocker, but better is that he has skill as a RT.

If it's Atlanta it's probably GRob


Robinson is a helluva run blocker but if I'm taking a pass blocker it's Matthews no doubt

Guys, a good sleeper RB to look out for is Stephen Houston from Indiana. Damn good back, is fresh because he shared time. He'll probably go undrafted, he wasn't invited to the combine, but could be the next Khiry Robinson.

Yeah, that's 99% of quarterbacks. Unless you have Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers or Andrew Luck, you are going to need to find a system that fits your QB or else he won't be too good.

I've been doing some player rating, and I've gotten my Top 5 for the WR, TE, and CB positions. Will work on DE, DT, & LB over the weekend


WR:
1. Watkins (96/100)
2. Evans (87/100)
3. Cooks (87/100)
4. Beckham Jr (84/100)
5. Lee (81/100)

Kelvin Benjamin has a lot of work to do at the combine if he wants to crack the top 5. Cooks is screaming up my board, and very well could end up as my #2 WR. Watkins is the easy #1 here


TE:
1. Ebron (92/100)
2. Niklas (89/100)
3. Lyerla (85/100)
4. Seferian-Jenkins (84/100)
5. Amaro (81/100)

I am not huge on Amaro, who is commonly mocked as the #2 TE. Almost 87% of his production came in the slot. He's not a good blocker, and he's not fast enough to beat guys in the slot really. Relies on his big frame too much.

Lyerla is a Jordan Reed/Aaron Hernandez a type of TE. He isn't a good blocker, but he has hands, and is super shifty and fast. One of the most dynamic players in this draft, he can line up at TE, sWR, oWR, and even as an H-Back. He is super exciting as a player. His cocaine use that got him off the Oregon team is gonna kill his stock. A 1st-2nd round talent, probably a Day 3 pick. Niklas is my favorite of the TEs. He's a powerful blocker, with deceptively nice hands. He is the most similar to a Rob Gronkowski in this draft, imo. A team that has power running (NE, SEA, etc) will love this kid


CB:
1. Dennard (92/100)
2. Gilbert (85/100)
3. Fuller (85/100)
4. Verrett (83/100)
5. Purifoy (79/100)

This draft has a big drop off in talent from 4 to 5. Purifoy is solid, but isn't game changing. Verrett is really solid, and he isn't getting nearly enough attention. But Kyle Fuller is the man. I was very close to putting him over Gilbert, & I might soon. Gilbert possesses ridiculous speed, but his coverage isn't nearly as good as you would want it to be. Back to Fuller though: he is perfect for a Cover 2 defense. He lined up 6-10 yards off the LOS 57% of his snaps. He was thrown at most in the 11-20 yard range (about 38%), and he fucking killed it. Allowed a 7.14% completion percentage from that 11-20 yard range. In comparison, the average comp% from that area of the 10 players scouted (Dennard, Verrett, Mitchell, Roby, Gilbert, Fuller, Hampton, Purifoy, Jean-Baptiste, Joiner) was about 35%. Gilbert allowed 45% from that range. The 11-20 range is the most common throw, and he allows about 7% completion? Damn.

You know, I really don't know lol. I really like him, but I can't decide if he's a starter or the backup in a tandem. He's got some boom potential.

I did. Combined with Evans's skill at running comeback routes, and his extremely good drop%, he moved up for me a bit


Benjamin has all the tools, but hasn't truly showcased them. He's never really done well versus bigger corners, which is a huge concern
