As for Barr, I think he will have basically two combine results: post-40 and post-bench

He'll run the 40 and get the fastest DL/LB score. Everyone will be racing on him, as a "Top 10 Lock"

And then he will do the bench press drill. And while not Damontre Moore bad, I don't believe he exceeds 16 reps. He's not strong, and it will show

I think he falls out of the Top 10 for sure. His lack of strength limits him to being a 3-4 speed rusher, not a 4-3 DE. I think he falls to the Jets at like #18

I think Marqise Lee isn't that different to Rueben Randle (maybe slightly higher upside)

#4-5 WR imo, where as most have him at #2

Ebron will go high tho. Not 10 imo, but top 16
They're very different players though. Randle is a big, fast deep threat, while Lee is super versatile, may more athletic and has better hands. I like Lee a lot more, myself. And I had Lee to the Bucs bc all the other guys are similar to Jackson already.

We should change this threads name to the 2014 NFL Draft Thread. That's basically what it is, more than just prospects.

Anyways, Friday's going to be interesting. Curious to see how Manziel and Bridgewater weigh in and measure. I've seen rumours, and totally wouldn't be surprised, that Bridgewater might be 6'1 rather than 6'3, his listed height. It would be good for him to weigh in around 210 too, rather than the 195 area that he's listed as. I don't think Manziel is 6'1 either, hope he comes in at 6'0. It would be nice for him also to weigh in at 210, maybe even 215 if he doesn't lose any speed.

I hate how the media tries to spin bench press numbers as a measure of strength. I would hope actual scouts don't do that.

Kapri Bibbs is so underrated.  I might even have him as my #1 RB.

I like him but he could stand to get stronger.

And I'm just gonna pretend that Mayock doesn't really think McCarron's the 5th best QB in this draft...

Interesting that he's got Yankey so high.

Really? I've been saying for a while that he is the #1 G in this draft, and imo is the #4 OL total (behind Matthews, Robinson, and Z.Martin)

I'm huge on Yankey.

Wow, really? What do you like about him? I have him as like a 7th rounder. If he gets drafted.

I haven't watched him yet but I didn't think he was that highly regarded lol

I'm basing my evaluation off of 1 game and some  highlights though, so I could be way off.

He didn't look especially fast, and wasn't big or strong and looked kind of weak going through the hole, to me.

Tom Savage is really interesting, you guys. Could have some developmental upside.

I can't even believe anyone likes McCarron though. For a heady QB he sure makes some dumb throws into triple coverage.

He's pretty limited in every area. Shouldn't really be looked at until the 6th at the earliest imo.

He had less than 200 yards 7 times this year.

I saw him in their bowl game, and he looked impressive... That's really all I've seen from him, lol. Just throwing some bold shit out there for the hell of it.

There really is a lack of top end talent at rb this year. You have Hyde, Seastrunk and Hill, then a bunch of middle of the road backs. A deep class of guys that can produce at the next level, but none that I'd be comfortable taking in the first two rounds.

Yeah that's the thing, depth but nothing great at the top. I'm glad Mayock didn't have Carey in his top 5 either, I'm not big on him. The only backs I would take in the first two rounds right now are Hyde or Seastrunk. Hill has some flashes, but half the time, he seems like just a guy lol.
