A little surprised you went with John Jansen over Chris Samuels.
Well Jansen is white and whites are usually better tackles.

And Jansen also graduated from the same small high school I did and his brother was my pop warner coach.

This just in:

New England is in trouble against any competent defense, as they don't have any real receivers.

That's not true

Edelman is very good and a healthy Gronk is a weapon

But our OL is trash, and if a team doubles Edelman, I'd be shocked if we ever win versus a competent team

Edelman's good but he's a slot receiver. IMO, Thompkins and Dobson have way too short of leashes. Give them enough time to get in rhythm with Tom and you've got two real outside receivers. Brandon LaFell should be a special teams player. Danny Amendola is also a slot receiver and likely to get hurt, at some point.

Let me rephrase--the Patriots have decent players at the WR position, but they're not in their best spots. Neither Edelman or Amendola should be spread out wide. Slot guys.

Yes, Gronk is great, but how healthy is he?

Father time is undefeated, as some crackhead named Cris once said. Everyone gets old, and sadly Tom Brady is aging a lot less gracefully as others.

This is why I'm not confident about facing the Patriots on Sunday night

Bengals are 7-30 in AWAY primetime games (Thursday, Sunday night, Mondays ).

1-10 in the Lewis era.

Yeah, my head hurts

Is it just me or do all the teams suck this year? At least at something or another. No team has dominated to the point where we say "That's the best team" or "That team is really great"

Some of course look better than others but it just seems weird. At this point I'm still not confident in the Cardinals offense going forward and the Bengals will probably lose like you^^^ said, possibly badly. Makes me feel more confident about my own lousy team.

It's not that I don't think the Bengals can't beat the Patriots. I think the Bengals are the better team, especially right now. It's just so hard to win in New England but it's also very hard to win in Baltimore and the Bengals were able to week 1. It's just every time the Bengals play in prime time, it's usually a disaster. But, if this team is ever going to take the next step and not let history repeat itself, it's time to make a statement with a win Sunday night. The Bengals are going into this game with a week of rest, Patriots are coming off a beat down on Monday night, short week for them. The Bengals have all signs going for them, but history says they will lose. It's time to show up on the national stage and play good. It. is. time.

Lol I'm not whining. All I'm saying is we (Bengals fans) have a reason to be the way we are because we've seen the same thing over and over again. Until they show otherwise, that they can win a big game, we'll have that doubt in the back of our mind. I'm very happy with them, I've just been let down time and time again where I don't want to get my hopes too high.

He practiced today, so things are looking up.  If not this week, he should be good to go next week.

Might as well not even worry about him regardless.  Seattle is gonna violate the Redskins in every way imaginable.

I think Niles Paul died last week, so you're running out of options.
