I hate our offensive line so much. They just don't show up if Ponder's out there. No effort. He's not a very good quarterback, but very few quarterbacks could have survived behind that OL.

So are you fully embracing the Vikings now?

I've been mostly a Vikings for for 4-5 years, now. Just held on to the Cowboys a bit too long. Honestly, I've converted to pretty much all Minnesota sports over the years. Only the Rockets are hanging on.

Thats hard to do, change favorite teams.  I don't think I could ever do that even if the Cards are bad(wait, the have been for serveral years. :p ).  Why did you make the change?

They have a chance. I'm not feeling particularly good about the game but who knows. I hope so. I'd be very happy.

It really wasn't a decision. I don't get to watch Dallas, but can watch/listen to Minnesota on the radio every week. It's basically moving over to my local teams that I can actually listen to on the radio in the tractor, things like that.

Why cut Thompkins, BB.... WHY

I can't get over Bill's stubbornness, sometimes. The Pats desperately need both Thompkisn and Dobson, but I almost wonder if Dobson has played his last snap for the team, too.

It makes no sense to have loLafell as your only outside receiver, because he's been absolutely terrible throughout his career. I also don't care how good Edelman and Amendola are in the slot--they aren't downfield threats against competent defenses.

This is ridiculous. Bill makes no sense.

Dobson is #4 on the depth chart; Bill feels he'd rather have ST depth than a #4 WR when he will almost never use 4 WRs on the field at once, which is understandable.

We run, most of the time, a 11 package, with Gronk at TE, Jules and LaFell on the outsides, Amendola in the slot, and Ridley in the backfield. We still have Tim Wright and Vereen as possible receivers, plus due to our offensive woes, an extra blocking TE like Hooman, Develin, or an OT as a TE could be used as well. The need for a #4 WR isn't huge.

We do need a deep threat, but Thompkins wasn't that either. He had the best release off the LOS out of anyone on the team, the best at creating initial separation. And thats why I'm confused we cut him, because we need that. But if Dobson is #4 on the depth chart, not KT, it makes sense to cut Thompkins in a way. Ebner was out for Sunday, and we needed another big special teamer. JaGared Davis (LB) will do that, and be part of the Core Four of himself, Matthew Slater, Tavon Wilson, and probably Don Jones.

Kyle Orton looks like a fan that Marrone just pulled off the street and decided to start.
