I don't regret realizing that I pay more attention to the Vikings and therefore they should be my primary team, but seeing Tony Romo with an offensive line, for once, is nice. The guy missed a season due to a bad line. His back is in shambles because of bad lines over the past few years. They need to keep him upright or he's going to be forced to retire.

I don't know who I'm supposed to be more excited for this year: This lousy NFL team, the LSU almost-good Tigers, or the Pelicans. I'm thinking Pelicans.

How do we swap out Darren Sproles for Brandin Cooks, Malcolm Jenkins for Jairus Byrd, and a few others here and there and end up being WAY WORSE than the year before???? The core of last year is still in tact, not too many lineup changes, no major injuries, same coaches, and yet we fucking suck ass now. WHAT THE FUCK?

It's okay when you expect a down year. It's okay when you expect to suck. You can only go up from there. In this case, we were supposed to be great! How the hell are we so bad for no apparent reason?

The NFL is crazy man. What's the stat on % of playoff teams that miss it the next year?

Idk but look at the stats for tonight.

Same number of drives as I type this, similar passing stats, same amount of yards per play, not a big gap between yardage. Looking at these stats you'd think it was a close game. But no. They got 7 more first downs and we turned the ball over twice. And that makes a 31-10 deficit? None of this is making sense. I know we missed a lot of tackles but damn. Then again I turned it off after halftime so I really don't know what's up.

No, Saints, no. You don't go and make it a two-score game as I rant about all this. YOU'LL MAKE ME LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT IF YOU SOMEHOW WIN

It's fluke stuff. Will balance out and the Saints will go on a run.

I haven't watched but it sounds like the Cowboys netted almost all of their yardage on scoring drives, while the Saints may have manufactured yards that resulted in just enough to not score, but still got yards.

Yeah, obviously scoring was the problem....

The Saints will be fine. Who is going to take the division from them? The Panthers have looked terrible the last two weeks. The Bucs aren't good and the Falcons let the Vikings put up near 600 total yards without Adrian Peterson and a Rookie QB playing. Despite this slow start for the Saints, I don't see any other team taking the division from them. The Saints defense isn't good right now, Rob Ryan better get them playing better or he won't have a job much longer..

Our changes just haven't paid off, I guess. That must be the biggest issue. It must be too hard for us to change our offense from being centered around Sproles, must be too hard for our defense to switch from Jenkins and Harper leading them to Jairus Byrd. Those two guys weren't very good at playing but they were the captains and held the D together from a mental standpoint. Byrd can't do that apparently, and on top of that he's flat-out been a bust so far for us.

Other than all that negative shit, I still believe our offense can put up yards and points like anyone else can. I still believe we can obliterate teams in the Dome under the right circumstances. If we can keep up our home-field play, and then manage to win some on the road, we're getting back to the playoffs. Our guys are winners, our coaches are used to winning, it'll take a lot out of other teams to keep us out of the playoffs. Not saying we're still gonna make it, but I definitely won't say we'll miss it. Still 12 games left to go, lots of team start out very slow and end up cranking it up later on. I believe we can do that.
