At 15 mill for the next 4 or 5 years? I wouldn't give up anything valuable.

If the Dodgers ate half of his contract, then I'd start talking.

Kemp being damaged goods is overstated

I dont even want to trade him unless we can get a nice young player like xander or nick castellanos

Idk who plays center without kemp. Trust me, puig cant. And ethier isnt a cf. I hated him there

No way we move Nick for him. Would be Ajax and others.

Yeah that's the word on the street.
And Joba Chamberlain.

Yeah, I heard that we have interest in Kemp. I'm not sure how I'd feel about that. I'd like to have him, but I wouldn't want to move AJax.

No thanks with Joba.

With Kinsler and now Davis with us, I really don't see how we keep Jackson leading off. I would be for replacing Jackson with Kemp. Gain some of that power are we losing with trading Prince.

Looking at our team, literally only Cabrera has potential to hit more than 20 homeruns this season, that is a problem.

I think I'd be willing to take the gamble.

If the price is right, it would be a no-brainer to me.

Depends who the Tigers would have to give up and how much the Dodgers would eat of his contract, he has like $128 million remaining. I like Kemp a lot, his injuries just are a big concern. If the Tigers were to get him, I wouldn't be against it. I guess it would depend on the final deal.

I don't see Jackson leading off either, he'd be moved down in the lineup, like he was in the playoffs. At least that's what I first thought when we got Kinsler.

Kemp has been riddled with injuries while Ajax has posted 8.3 fWar for the past 2years. I wouldn't trade him for Kemp considering he's making a lot less and has 2 more years of control.

I think it's a move that could be made, but doesn't need to be made.

#Tigers are telling teams they're not optimistic about getting an extension done with Max Scherzer but have no plans to deal him.
