Good question.
Lol, I don't think there is many Pistons fans that think the Knight deal is fair value. I certainly don't.bosoxlover12 said:That doesn't mean Boston should be lowballed in their offer. Pistons fans are ridiculous.
Knight+expirings for Rondo? What good does that do for us? Knight can't run the point either; you have 2 small combo guards and no starting point. And then Detroit gets a steal in Rondo.
Personally, if Detroit wants Rondo, they would be best suited to move Monroe, who is the player id want most in return. I dont want Drummond, and Monroe can play the 5 fairly well imo. But for Detroit, if they dont move Monroe, they will be stuck offensively.
Drummond-Monroe-Smith-Stuckey-Rondo, CB as a 6th man. Aside for Billups, who shouldnt get significant minutes due to his age, nobody is a good scorer really. Smith is, but at PF. At SF, with the post clogged up due to the two bigmen, he's going to be the bad Josh Smith, chucking up terrible shots and missing. Rondo isnt good enough of a shooter to rely on. They need to move Monroe for Rondo, and maybe in the deal we can flip you Jordan Crawford and/or Gerald Wallace; someone who can play the 3.
Just how they fit on the court wise, a lineup of Drummond-Smith-Wallace-Crawford-Rondo, with Billups as a 6th man, is a better lineup than Drummond-Monroe-Smith-Stuckey-Rondo, even if it is less talented.
Monroe+Knight+Stuckey+Villanueva for Rondo+Crawford+Wallace.

The Russian Sniper, my new favorite Cav.
Love that he's able to use his off hand around the basket, needs to get stronger tho.
