Though I seen a deal on twitter, that would be pretty cool.

Pistons Get: Rondo, Lee
Celtics Get: Jennings, Villanueva
Bucks Get: Knight, Stuckey, Humphries

Don't see the Pistons coming up with Rondo when the only thing of value they're trading is Knight, and his value aint that good in the first place.

So basically we trade Rondo for a diva Brandon Jennings, who we wont max, and get rid of Lee's contract in the deal.

Makes no sense. And Celtics have no interest in Brandon Jennings at all

TBH, I don't think any teams would really give up all that much for Rondo.

They'd certainly give up more than Brandon Knight and two expiring contracts, for sure.

Edit: we could probably get Jennings+Ersan from Milwaukee easily

While a BS rumor, if Charlotte offered MKG+Kemba+Sessions for Rondo, I'd probably do it. Throw in that DET 1st (or a CHA 1st) and i'm signing the papers immediately

Rondo won't net the Celtics nearly what he should because of his reputation around the league.

That doesn't mean Boston should be lowballed in their offer. Pistons fans are ridiculous.

Knight+expirings for Rondo? What good does that do for us? Knight can't run the point either; you have 2 small combo guards and no starting point. And then Detroit gets a steal in Rondo.

Personally, if Detroit wants Rondo, they would be best suited to move Monroe, who is the player id want most in return. I dont want Drummond, and Monroe can play the 5 fairly well imo. But for Detroit, if they dont move Monroe, they will be stuck offensively.

Drummond-Monroe-Smith-Stuckey-Rondo, CB as a 6th man. Aside for Billups, who shouldnt get significant minutes due to his age, nobody is a good scorer really. Smith is, but at PF. At SF, with the post clogged up due to the two bigmen, he's going to be the bad Josh Smith, chucking up terrible shots and missing. Rondo isnt good enough of a shooter to rely on. They need to move Monroe for Rondo, and maybe in the deal we can flip you Jordan Crawford and/or Gerald Wallace; someone who can play the 3.

Just how they fit on the court wise, a lineup of Drummond-Smith-Wallace-Crawford-Rondo, with Billups as a 6th man, is a better lineup than Drummond-Monroe-Smith-Stuckey-Rondo, even if it is less talented.

Monroe+Knight+Stuckey+Villanueva for Rondo+Crawford+Wallace.

rondo is a diva who cant score at all. on a team lacking scoring, he does no good.

in this nba if youre a pass first pg you must have a great scoring team, we dont. i like bks potential to get 15/6 more.

I'd rather keep Rondo too tbh. Run a Sully-Olynyk-Green-Bradley-Rondo lineup. Kelly-O and Green on the mid range perimeter, allowing Rondo and Bradley to drive, and Sully there as our post man. Great defensive backcourt, Green is a good defensive wing. If Olynyk can improve defensively, we are a real solid basketball team

That is not a solid team.

I'd generally agree with that, but Rondo was tied for the 3rd best shooting PG last year from 16-23 feet, behind only Chris Paul and Steve Nash.

Why would you even waste time and have a full press conference for those guys?
