chris palmer did say something recently
he said john wall and melo to the lakers is hard, but possible

then he had another one of melo and lowry which i could actually see happening

if the lakers miss on melo though, hello mediocrity (actually, even with melo probably)

John Wall to the Lakers is nearly impossible. He played outstanding to end the year. Play like that all year, he's worth the max and he's going to get it anyway from Washington.

It's going to be real hard to attract players to play for the Lakers.

Now there is something. Jennings plays for 4.5M this season then signs a huge deal next offseason with the Lakers.

But I do want to see Waiters, cause I love Waiters.

It's a shame Bennett is hurt and Karasev is playing for some Russian national team. Dellavedova/Waiters/Karasev/Bennett/Zeller would have been fun to watch.

Apparently the Pistons offered Knight, expiring contracts, and multiple picks for Rondo.

I posted this on reddit yesterday. IF a deal goes down for Rondo, this is what I'd expect to happen

Boston receives Greg Monroe, Brandon Knight, Charlie Villanueva, Rodney Stuckey.
Pistons receive Rajon Rondo, Gerald Wallace, Jordan Crawford

We do not get any picks, which sucks, but we get two expiring contracts, and then Monroe and Knight. By dumping GForce, we lose some leverage (hence no picks), but in a deal with Detroit, this is as good as it gets.

Which is why it will not happen.

And I wouldn't want it to happen either.

We are trying to rebuild, but having to pay Monroe a near-max contract and Bradley a significant contract as well in one year does not help that.
Green at $9.2M, Monroe at probably $12M, Bradley at $6M, Lee at $5.4, Bogans at $5....its too much money for a team that isn't going to be any good.

Deal wouldn't happen. Boston doesn't wanna trade him in a salary dump, and the Pistons don't wanna trade either of its bigs.
