Chris has to win a playoff series first.  For such an elite player, his playoff career isn't very good.  No reason to lose to Memphis when they were up 2-0.

 

He's won two? Even won one with the Hornets...

I'm obviously aware, but what I'm saying is he needs to win one past the first round.  Beat Dallas and Memphis is nice I guess, but he needs to advance past the semifinals.  Loss to Memphis last year when they were up 2-0, loss to San Antonio in 07-08 when they were up 2-0, then up 3-2.  Year before last getting swept by the Spurs, etc.  You can put it on the team, as would I, but at some point he has to win something meaningful.
