but really, it doesnt get better than what Lee did in the playoffs for the Phils

I guess if i had to pick one, i'd take Halladay too, but he is a few years older.
and talk about the pressure he's under. he's never been under this kind of pressure before.
i mean neither was Lee last year, but still.

I guess we'll see.

but wow, they could have had both. ruben amaro just got nervous i guess and shipped lee out for ok prospects

I hear Ozzie Guillen has a twitter account, lol. That dude is so funny and great for the game of baseball. And if the guy says something wrong, he will always apologize. That guy speaks the truth and I guess some people cant handle it.

The Mets don't deserve to have talent like Reyes and Wright on their team aha. They belong in Yankee pinstripes.
Do I have some competition for this season?

Willis walked the first batter, but quickly settled down to pitch two shutout innings with only an infield hit allowed. It was just the kind of first impression he wanted to make.
Best news I've heard all day.

It's so odd seeing Roy Halladay in a Phillies jersey.

You must be buying your weed from the same guy my friend seems to be buying his stuff from...

On a related note, it appears Reyes' thyroid injury is not much of a worry. David Lennon says the thyroid issue is common and easy to treat and completely curable.

He's still around?

I thought he went to play ball in like Cuba or some <Censored>.
Haha no, he's been in the minors and stuff. Hopefully will bounce back lol.

Marcum looked good today. McGowan's almost healthy and could start soon.

I could care less about how the Jays do this season, but if Marcum and McGowan show promise I will be extremely happy

probably a blessing in disguise though. dude was horrible last year
but then when he comes back, he's going to probably be in a bad rhythm because he hasnt played in so long
