spring training results mean nothing really

besides the fact that it shows our prospects are talented
I know but it gets you ready for the season.

lol we're undefeated in spring training, which means we'll suck in the regular season.

its funny that it works that way, the Jays do great in spring training every year and then blow in the regular season

Only thing I'm taking from this spring is that our offense is looking really good.. Which is expected, we have a lot of nice young hitters, but the pitching is a huge question mark.

Choo looks great out there :)

Laporta ftw!!
Btw do you think he'll make the team? You guys signed Branyan so that might hurt his chances a bit.

Jacob Turner is showing some mean potential. Guess he threw 97 yesterday (his average is like 93) and struck out the side against the Yankees. Including Teixeira.
Only 18 years old too. Him and Porcello as the future <3

Bud Selig is retarded. Anyone else hear about the possible division realignment? He'll do anything but put a salary cap in Baseball.. The only division swapping they should do is put the Red Sox and Yankees in a two man division so other teams can make the playoffs.

And Bonderman actually pitched well.

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Minnesota Twins closer Joe Nathan will miss the 2010 season because of an elbow injury that will require surgery.

Nathan, who leads the major leagues with 246 saves since 2004, made the decision after playing catch with Twins pitching coach Rick Anderson for 10 minutes on Sunday.

Nathan hopes to have surgery to repair the torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow within two weeks. He was injured on March 6 during a 20-pitch outing in a spring training game against the Boston Red Sox.

Nathan said his goal would be to return at the start of the 2011 season.

The 35-year-old right-hander went 2-2 with a 2.10 ERA and a career-best 47 saves last season.
