You're ignoring player personalities and playing styles. This isn't a sim league.
You're acting like this is a sure thing and not addressing any of the problems created with the trade. Like Iggy's history of poor SG play, the breakout of Faried, the return of Wilson Chandler, lack of back up...
There's enough minutes if Iggy only plays the 2, and no one else gets minutes at 2, 3 or 4.
144 minutes total at 2, 3, and 4. Iggy plays 36, Gallo 30, Dub C 30, Faried 30 = 116. That leaves 28 minutes to split between Corey Brewer, Anthony Randolph, Evan Fournier, Jordan Hamilton, and Quincy...
Do you understand physical addiction? When users quit heroine or crack, their brain stops receiving necessary chemicals and the absence of these chemicals creates withdrawal.
You can literally DIE from alcohol, crack, or heroine withdrawal. Not a single person has ever died from marijuana...
my problem is that Wilson Chandler also deserves a lot of minutes... hence why I don't think this trade is so good until either they make a move or I see it work
He's not a shooter and doesn't space the floor.
He's a better 3, and that's the problem when the team already has two big 3s and a promising young player at the 4 who deserves a lot of minutes.
He was coming off his sophomore slump into his 3rd year, and he regressed even more. It's all player dependent... some can play multiple positions while other's can't
While I agree with this post, it's stupid to deny Horford's athleticism. When he came into the NBA he tested at 9% body fat with a 35" vertical.
If you want to knock him, he is a bit undersized.
it's not physically addictive. so not like alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, heroine, meth, cocaine, etc.
wonder if their coaching staff ever tried to work with him to rehab in a way.
