And FWIW I'm almost certain it was Phoenix who gave Waiters the promise.

Andre Drummond met with the Kings at the NBA draft combine, where team officials told him he would mesh well with DeMarcus Cousins.

"They told me we both could be interchangeable," Drummond said. "We both can do similar things, and if it worked out, we'd have a good chemistry together."

Drummond averaged 7.9 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shots during his freshman season at Connecticut.

"I'm going to work my tail off on defense, grab a lot of rebounds, block some shots and put some points on the board," Drummond said. "It's going to be tough. I'm going to be making a big transition from college to the NBA. … I'm not saying I'm going to go out there and drop 30 and 15 every game. I'm saying I'm going to go out there and do the best I can."

Would be a great front court, barring that Cousins doesn't murder Drummond.

The Cavaliers are gathering all sorts of information on UCONN big man Andre Drummond. In play for Cleveland at 4th spot.
This gives me some hope

Probably Beal, but I wouldn't care either way. They're my two favorite players in the draft lol

Cleveland and Portland have talked about swapping draft picks, according to source. Cavs would get #6 and #11, Blazers would get #4 and #24.

Austin Rivers has reportedly received a promise from a team picking in the late lottery, according to a Yahoo! Sports report.

Rivers did not fully participate in the NBA pre-draft combine last week.

He is scheduled to workout for Portland, Toronto, Houston, Cleveland, Phoenix, Washington and New Orleans.

The Suns own the 13th overall pick and have been open about their desire to add a perimeter scorer.
