No confirmation miami is out, as was reported. however, w/ diff in $ slight and no no-trade in miami, #cards clear favorite

Turned to MLB network and they're saying the Marlins have made a 6 year offer to Wilson

Source: Hanley Ramirez's rep asked the Marlins for a restructured deal. MIA upset with this, will now be looking to trade Hanley (more).

Marlins have big offers out to C.J. Wilson (6 years) and Mark Buehrle (perhaps as many as 4), and will sign whoever says yes first.

Guess Detroit and the Mets have been talking a Murphy - Dirks deal.

I'd do it. Plus I want Dirks to have a chance to start somewhere, he deserves that.
From what I've seen, lately Murphy has had a hard time staying injury-free.

They're still after him.

If they were serious about Pujols, they still have a lot of money left.

So Marlins sign Buerhle and still have their offer out to Wilson. What if they did something like sign Wilson, trade Ramirez, sign Fielder, trade Gaby Sanchez? Think about the players they would be able to get for Ramirez and Sanchez, that would be one crazy team.

if the giants didnt trade jonathan sanchez, maybe the marlins could have gotten Matt Cain or Madison Bumgarner for Hanley

They're not trading him

3:25pm: Ramirez did not ask to have his contract restructured and is not getting traded, Marlins president David Samson told Ken Rosenthal.

Did Carlos Beltran secretly retire? I haven't heard anything about him in a while.

Nah, I actually just read a few minutes ago that the Giants aren't resigning Beltran or Ross.

But other than that I haven't heard anything regarding Beltran.
