Tigers are currently the favorites for Yoenis Cespedes.
I guess this means we don't see Jackson in our future plans?

We are also in talks with the A's to get Gio Gonzalez.

On Yoenis Cespedes, an NL International Director says: “The Tigers are going to get that guy. I promise you that.”
just to back up what rip said.

I really like what I hear about the kid. I hope we do get him.
I just don't get what the plan is with him? Interesting.

#marlins already in pursuit of prince. Signs indicate cards likely to get pujols

I read that Albert's agent is the same agent for Rollins, and that Rollins close to staying in Philly somehow means Pujols stays in STL. If anyone can figure out the logic in that lemme know, haha.

Yea, I've heard a few times over the last week that Cespedes is fine for CF right now, but people expect him to move to RF or LF within 2-3 years.

i've only watched part of it but I like what I see.
I watched the whole thing. Incredible. A lot of it though is just kinda BS, like there was excersise stuff they threw in there that really don't have anything to do with his talent, lol. I mean it shows how athletic he was but it just seemed like more of a way of taking up time in the video.

The power he generates though is phenomenal.

I'd assume we just move him to LF and move Delmon Young.
Even though I like Delmon :(

Guess that's true. Depends how MLB ready he is right now. From what I've heard, he might be ready already.

It'll probably be like when Strasburg was drafted. 1st full year he'll just breeze through AA and AAA within 2 months and be in MLB, in Mid June/Early July, unless he absolutely sucks for some reason.

If he goes to minor leagues, it's only for a quick time just to work him on a few things like plate discipline and fielding.

Sounds like Erik Bedard is signing up for the Pirates.
