Pretty sure they had a few 1000 run seasons, and I think top 3 all time for runs in one season, but I'm not sure. In 97, Sandy Alomar started the year as the 9th hitter, he hit .324 with 20 homers and 80+ RBIs. I'd rather watch videos of those days rather then the team now lol

Tigers swept Indians. None of the games weren`t close. This one went into the 10th before the conclusion. Twins had the day off so we are 5 up on them, and still 7 on the White Sox, with White Sox playing Boston and us facing Rays, in Tampa.

Cleveland Indians OF Grady Sizemore's season expected to end today because of sore left elbow

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Indians are expected to shut down center fielder/leadoff hitter Grady Sizemore for the season. An annoucement will be made later today.

Sizemore has played all season with a sore left elbow that will require surgery. Rookie Michael Brantley will hit leadoff tonight against the Twins at Progressive Field.
