double, walk, walk, sac fly lol. I don't understand why Perez doesn't realize the only Tiger that can get an actual clutch hit is Cabrera. Just make them put the ball in play. Wedge shouldn't even be pitching him.
SMH.

Well it's basically true.. I guess Inge has done good this year but now he is playing through and injury and I don't think anyone expected him to keep up his power numbers in the 2nd half anyway. Even you have complained about the Tigers hitting.

We have had plenty of guys get clutch hits this season.
Raburn, Polanco, Thomas, etc.

David Wright using right field effectively today, very good game for him considering that he just got back from his concussion.

Nice HR by Dan Murphy. I think he'll be an ok player even though his numbers arent that good.

so Penny shuts down the Phils but Lince loses to Pedro
go figure

this is why i laugh when everyone says the Giants are so good in a short series.
I agree. They have great pitching, but its not like they have a consistent line-up either.
they can get shut down by anyone just as their aces can shut down the opposition.
even then, they still lose like tonight

Phillies scored 3 runs the entire 3 game series vs. SF, and still won 2/3

Its not just the aces that shut other teams down Mexi

Which team has the most shutouts? The Giants. The whole pitching staff can keep teams at 0 runs for 9 innings. The offense had a bad night and Lincecum paid for it even though he had 11 K's.

Brian Sabean really needs to look into a good ass hitter cuz i'm tired of shiz like this

BTW did you see the Zito stats I posted a few pages back. Tell me he isn't back

Michael Brantley has a hit in every game since coming up, stole a base today too. He has a great eye for the plate, rarely strikes out, in the minors he walked more then he struck out. Lead off hitter for the future, we can finally move Sizemore down to #3.

The Yankees now have seven players in the line-up who have hit at least 20 HR's this year. That's an MLB record <Censored>es.

Just looked it up, back in 95 they were 6th-7th in the order, those lineups in the 90s were so stacked, it's a shame we stink now.
