Long Island considers seceding, becoming 51st state. New York lawmakers say sure, but only if you take the Mets.

I think Romero's chances of winning roy is getting a little slim. I think Jeff Nieman is the front runner right now. And imo Aaron Hill should win the comeback player of the year this year. Last year he had a concussion and missed most of the season and this year he's putting up some monster numbers.

A guy who is on a minor league contract is batting better than a guy that makes almost 20mill per year.

Mets losing 4-2 to the Cubs. On a side note, Milton Bradley has been a HUGE dissapointment. Not what the Cubs were looking for this year. Shouldve kept Derosa.

Honestly, I still wonder why we are still giving Galarraga a chance.

AL Cy Young should be the easiest award to hand out this year

Lyon with the save, Tigers get the win.

74-61. 13 games over .500, best for us this season. 5 game win streak, and another road series won. Second straight, bout damn time.

Few more wins in a row and we might not be the worst team to make the playoffs :)

Wont you look at that. Manny's on the bench and the boys in blue are suddenly producing runs. 6-2 over SD at the top of the fifth.

No question that Manny's been the cog in the system ever since he came back from suspension. What to do with the guy... hmm.
