Casey: Val's been playing well this game. I guess it's time to sit him out for the rest of the 4th

The thing is, I get that they went super-small and killed us in that way.  But if we just punished them inside (Morris guarding Jonas, come on), the trade-off may have made PHX change their lineup.  One of my biggest gripes with Casey is he always lets the opponent dictate the style.  Also, Demar is KILLING me so far this year.  Opposing fans must HATE playing him, as the only reason he is even moderately productive is the whistle he gets.  I would hate playing him.

He won't get those calls in the postseason. Dude absolutely has to change something.

He's worked so hard on everything, it's crazy he's never developed a somewhat competent 3 point shot.  Probably the easiest thing to add to your arsenal vs. the weight he's added, improved handles, etc.  He got those calls last year vs. Brooklyn though. I liked the improved vision he showed last year but seems to have lost this year.  It'll be interesting.  I'd like to see Jonas take some of Demar's high usage, or even just give it to Lowry, who is a total stud.

Drawing fouls is actually a skill, despite people complaining about unfair treatment. Some guys just know how to do it.

Some do, yes, but DeRoman has a tendency to dribble into terrible situations that he should not be bailed out of. Lots of times he isn't and dribbles right into a turnover. Those are the plays we're talking about
