Chris Bosh's stats have regressed. Mexi hasn't said a word

The straight-up rule is the best addition the NBA has ever made to its rulebook. Makes it so guys like Kobe can't just jump into people and draw a foul. Great rule.

Theoretically it is an awesome rule.  It's a shame that Roy Hibbert is the only big who gets the benefit of the doubt consistently it seems.

EDIT: and I say that knowing well that our leading scorer relies on horrible foul calls to get him a lot of his points.  On the other hand, I see Jonas get called for fouls just for breathing on someone.

Bware would never dare bestow that on anyone from a team he liked except maybe Dwight and James

Good to know I'm not the only one who sees DeRozan making stupid plays in iso. I cringe every time I see them go to him for the last shot. It's a TO waiting to happen.

I don't generally like players who have LBS. And yes, Dwight and James have huge cases of it, though Dwight's is becoming less and less prominent.

He has taken a huge step back from last year.  He has 2 great screeners in Amir/Jonas but only looks to pass after he starts off shooting 20%.  Lowry is head and shoulders better and I would love to see Jonas involved more because I think he eventually should be better as well.

Yeah, Valencunas is steadily improving and I think he'll be one of the better centers in the league very soon.

Would it be fair to say that you have "LBS" when discussing NBA rules, regulations, and those who enforce them?

Our coach, for whatever reason, thinks playing Hayes/Hansbrough extended minutes is better than playing Val.  If it costs us a game or two, it is worth playing Jonas.  He admittedly sucks on D, but so does Demar, yet only one gets yanked for lapses.  This is a guy who gets you 15 and 10 when he plays 32 mins or so and you don't even really have to run plays for him.

When their fuck-ups cease to be inexcusable and cease to affect the outcomes of games, I'll never mention it again.

And I rarely, rarely do now. Stop living in the past

It's only a handful of them. The Joey Crawford type. If the league would act and discipline or dismiss the 4 or 5 who are awful, the NBA would be the best officiated professional sports league. By miles.

Casey: Val's been playing well this game. I guess it's time to sit him out for the rest of the 4th

Holy shit, the entire Bulls five started tonight.

Taj being out sucks, but Miro getting 25+ minutes might not be a bad thing.

It's so hard to watch Houston when they're Harden and Ariza + D League players. Jesus tap dancing Christ. No wonder I watched Phoenix/Toronto, instead.
