As much of a good story the Boston Celtics are, they're playing right into the hands of a 4-0 sweep of double digit Cavs victories lol

philly, via the MIN trade
Damn, was that for Thaddeus Young?

What a snag by Philly

The Cavs giving the Bulls the option to swap firsts last year was looking bad early on, but, got em'.

And if the Nets miss the playoffs, the Hawks get a lottery pick. Crazy

Looks like that pick traded for Asik might be lottery too for Houston. Some questionable moves showing their heads late.

You are so damn stupid smh

While Cleveland will win the series, assuming we are playing them (we have to lose out basically plus Indy losing to be the 8 seed), don't count out the Celtics that easily. I'd be surprised if there was more than one double digit loss (and I mean a loss that isn't double digits solely because of fouling at the end)

Cavs will win the series 4-1 or 4-2, but they will be close, for sure.

Why is it "so stupid" to think the Cavs could sweep Bosox?

The Celtics are 38-42, and don't have an advantage anywhere on the court against the Cavs.

It's more so the double digit blowouts he's implying

I would be 1000% shocked if we were blown out 4 times. I wouldn't be shocked if we were swept, but someone saying we'll be blown out 4x clearly has not watched a single game of the Celtics this season, simple as that

My prediction is 4-1. I'm far from saying the Celtics are going to win the series

I mean, that's not really true at all

Isaiah can easily create versus Kyrie.
Bass can and will get his separation from KLove

That said, we don't have many advantages. Either we'll have a weak O-Line (have Smart out there over Isaiah) or the weak D-Line as consequence.

Also, the record really isn't relfective of this team, at all. We have the 4th best record in the NBA since All-Star Weekend. Most of our losses are pre-Thomas. We aren't going to win the series, but it isn't a cakewalk. Id much rather face Milwaukee if I were Cleveland (not that it really matters, because the Cavs will win any series in the East)

Refs are fucking us hard right now, four obvious missed calls and it's not even half yet.

I'm sure he will come back with something lol

It's just I can't ignore when a ball gets blocked coming off the backboard, that's an obvious call.

Westbrook picked up his 16th tech of the season, will be suspended when they face Portland. What a dumbass.

Those aren't advantages, those are things that could happen in the series. Bass can and will get his separation. Why do I care if Brandon Bass gets open mid range jumpers? He can take those and continue to stay in the game, because he can't guard Kevin Love on the perimeter or in the post. And Isaiah Thomas can create versus Kyrie. That's fantastic, but who exactly is Thomas going to cover? He can't guard Kyrie just given his ability and the fact that he's relatively big for a PG, and at 5'9 or whatever he is, putting him on JR Smith and asking him to try to contest his shots is not going to happen either.

The Celtics best player is a point guard who isn't nearly as good as the Cavs point guard, who isn't even the best player on his own team. I mean, it's not a fair fight, and it'll be a shock if the Celtics pull one out.

If I'm Cleveland I let Brandon Bass shoot all the midrange jumpers in the world. (obviously I'm aware he's one of the best midrange jump shooters in the league)
