It's not even about that. Based on percentages, I was indeed wrong, but what was the necessity in looking it up and presenting it to the entire thread? I don't get it. On that note, are we basing great 3 point shooters on Kyle Korver like percentages, because there will always be outliers?

I would say he's been a great shooter since he got here, but I doubt he keeps these percentages up. But I have no reason to believe he can't be a 40 plus percent shooter in his prime

And one last point, I really can't stress how big of an addition Q-Pon has been. The Pelicans really needed a wing with some length that could defend and stretch the floor.

Defensively, his direction to the other four guys can't be undervalued. Before he was named a starter, this team was giving up 109.1 points per 100 possessions, which would have been about 27th in the league. Since adding him, they're at 104.9 points which would be about 13th in the league. That's driven this team to a 15-8 record since he became the starting wing opposite Eric Gordon.

And offensively, with his floor spacing this team hasn't lost much. Over the last two seasons this has been a top 10 offense in the league, before the injuries set in they were the 5th best offense. Well since adding another shooter they've lost very little, coming in at 108.8 pts which is about 7th in offensive efficiency. He makes over 2 threes a game.

This is exciting for me. How much better is a top 5 offense now that you have a deadly spot up shooter instead of a guy who can't shoot a lick like Al-Farouq Aminu or Dante Cunningham? And with the addition of one of the best defenders at the point in Jrue Holiday and a good all around defender on the wing in Pondexter, what is the ceiling for this team defensively considering you have Davis and Asik manning the inside? A top 5 offense and a top 10 defense next season? A net positive of about 5 pts? There are only 5 teams in that category this year. Future is really bright.

I didn't even need to look it up to know he wasn't a great shooter, I just wanted to have an actual number to prove you wrong with. The point of looking it up was to not let an absurd claim go unnoticed because the only person who would've had knowledge of his percentages was Nola and he would never refute a positive statement about a pelicans player.

It's not absurd to call a high thirties percentage 3 point shooter a great 3 point shooter, in my opinion. 40+% isn't sustainable for most players.
