Can you stop putting words into my mouth. I'm getting real sick of it.

They were well on their way to the playoffs until BJ went down.
The only other "homer" claim I've made this year was also saying BJ has changed, which you laughed off too. So quit acting like I'm making outlandish claims. I realize when I was a bit younger I said some stupid ass shit, but I'm not a giant homer the way I used to be. Am I still? Yeah, but anyone who is more than a casual fan is. So stop singling me out like I'm all that's wrong with the Piston fan base when I'm just rooting for my team to succeed.
you didn't say wed go on a championship run but you said something along the lines of having a real shot if we make the playoffs, and it's just not true. it's good for the fans but im not even huge on saying playoffs help young players when we have no real chance at winning more than a game.

I said we could sneak a playoff series, because of how weak the East is.
This was before the Hawks and Cavs started looking as good as they do. So no, I don't think they would beat either of those teams.

But I do still think making the playoffs would be a deciding factor on keeping Greg Monroe. And I don't think we can afford to lose him.

i don't think the playoffs matter to greg at all, when it comes to staying. making this playoffs or not doesn't mean a lot right now because it's clear svg will turn the team around. no doubt about it. even before the cavs and hawks looked as good as they do, we were never going to beat them or even the bulls.

Idk. I think if we made it this year it, he would be more excited to enter negotiations with us, rather than ending the season with another disappoint here, 5 in a row.

I was more thinking 7th seed, where beating the Raptors at the time seemed not at all impossible.

I said something about it the other day, but I really don't get DJ Augustin lol
Dude looked pretty bad all year as a backup, but as soon as he becomes a starter he has been playing out of his mind.
Thrives when starting guards go out for the year I guess lol

Pelicans are 9-4 since acquiring Quincy Pondexter.

I think the teams record would be a good bit better if he and DC had been here throughout the entire season.  I think in such a short time he's become the leader of this team.  He's a glue guy, he and DC.  He is encouraging to his teammates, he's vocal on and off the court, he makes sure the team talks, he's 100% all the time, good one on one and team defender, he's pure energy.  He's even starting to knock down shots.

He spent a lot of time matched up on Tyreke who went for 22 and 16, so I'd have to heavily disagree there.

His defense in the PnR was horrendous.

Demar DePasser is back, it seems.

This is what took him to the next level last year and made him a real solid player IMO.  Not crazy assist numbers, but his drive and kick game was huge.  Lowry is able to get into the paint but Demar can find guys a lot better from in there.

At the start of the year, the ball was sticking to him.  He's playing a real nice game lately.  Once he starts knocking down shots at close to a league average rate, if he continues helping space the floor, the Raptors are going to be okay.

Not to mention James Johnson is back.  I love that guy.  If he ever learned to knock down a corner 3 the guy would get paid ridiculous money.

LeBron is definitely going to try to be Jerry Jones. Gonna run this franchise straight into the ground. It's alright tho, get me a title before you retire from playing and we good.

Who would be a worse executive - Kobe or LBJ?  Both would be terrible for hilarious and different reasons.

They're both definitely going to be awful, but I think there's a better chance of Kobe adapting. It's a very small chance, but a better one.

So crazy that he would tweet that.  He's never had to do what Love is doing, take a back seat and be the scapegoat when his utilization has been nothing short of terrible.  Shots aside, his 2nd best skill arguably is his passing, so keeping him a floor spacer is useless.  Trade him for Patrick Patterson if you're just going to use him like that.

Crazy situation right now.  Wouldn't blame Love if he took off and I don't think it'd hurt Cleveland that much anyways.  Would just suck to lose Wiggins for nothing.
