Shabazz is the man lol

But I don't recall ever saying he'd be a starter in the league. I still think he'll be a solid backup in the league, but I thought he would have been playing better by now

And I don't want to overhype a win over Philly too much, but the Celtics have a legitimate playoff chance

Like, we are 2 games out of the 8 seed. We have one of the best benches in the league (ignore the fact that we have one of the 3 worst starting lineups in the league)

We are far closer to the playoffs than we are getting a top 5 pick. So why not push for it?

If I did, show me the post. If i did, I'll admit my homer-glasses got the best of me.

Idk if bosox ever said he'd be a starter. I just know I got into large arguments about how he would have been a late 2nd rounder if they didnt win the title, and how he wouldn't be a good back up

They're only two games out of the 8 spot.  It could still happen.

If we [UConn] lost in the first round, he would have been an early/mid 2nd rounder. But he carried us to a title, which is why he deserved to be a 1st.

I still think he'd be a good bench player. Think a Ramon Sessions type of player in terms of team role, not play style

Where you at bosox, I maintained this guy wouldn't even be a good back up, let alone a capable starter

it's not like austin playing for his dad is a huge move by real fans. so youre good ha. it's more of a fanboy casual fan move
I'm usually on point with knowing this stuff though. I'd say I'm somewhere between casual and fan boy for sure though

Can you stop putting words into my mouth. I'm getting real sick of it.

They were well on their way to the playoffs until BJ went down.
The only other "homer" claim I've made this year was also saying BJ has changed, which you laughed off too. So quit acting like I'm making outlandish claims. I realize when I was a bit younger I said some stupid ass shit, but I'm not a giant homer the way I used to be. Am I still? Yeah, but anyone who is more than a casual fan is. So stop singling me out like I'm all that's wrong with the Piston fan base when I'm just rooting for my team to succeed.
