You can't talk about those people you don't watch college basketball.

Is there a possibility that LeBron pulls a John Elway/Eli Manning in that case? You know him better than I do. Memphis was a pretty good team then already though. Miller, Williams, Gasol, Battier, James Posey?, Lorenzen Wright. I wanna say they were like the 8 seed the year before but all the years have started to lump together for me haha

I doubt it, since Pau was a young stud then too, and the two would have been great together

But I would almost guarantee Lebron would tell melo (assuming CLE gets the #2 pick) to stay in Cleveland, and that at his first FA opportunity he'd join him in hometown cleveland

LeBron has always been about his brand though. I know the team would've been good but it's not enough for him.

Wouldn't shock me but just because a GM is dumb doesn't mean you can call him a star

I think you answered your own question. If he has always been about his brand, he wouldn't demand a trade. It's not like Cleveland is a big market, it's just where he was born.

There's way more appeal to a superstar playing in his hometown than a superstar playing in Memphis.

well duh he's an rfa

He's a great supporting player that they can't afford to lose, so they'll match everything. But whoever offers him that max is stupid because he can't survive on a team where he is relied on to score
