According to Mike Johnson on PWInsider Elite, this past Tuesday during Smackdown WWE management spoke to anyone who had contracts up in the next year or two.

Talent were pulled into rooms and had meetings with WWE management in attempts to sign longer form deals with the company.

According to Johnson, this caused quite the buzz backstage, with talent sitting around during these meetings discussing how crazy the current situation was.

Wrestlinginc is reporting that WWE filmed TWO finishes to the Gargano Velveteen Dream North American title match last night.
 
First it saw Dream defeat Gargano for the title. While Dream celebrated Gargano came back and attacked Dream. Dream got the advantage went for his rainmaker elbow but Gargano moved and made him tap out.
 
It'll be interesting to see which finish they use when the match airs in a few weeks.

Nia Jax Legitimately Hurt R-Truth in Attack at Royal Rumble

 
Nia Jax is back at hurting talents again but this time around it’s a male WWE Superstar.
As seen at Sunday’s Royal Rumble event, WWE did an angle that saw Nia Jax attack R-Truth prior to the men’s traditional Royal Rumble match. Nia, who is notorious for hurting her peers, roughed up Truth pretty bad and ended up legitimately hurting his ankle & face.
Jerry Lawler discussed the incident on the latest installment of his podcast a and claimed the heat was real.
 
“This got real heat for real. She blasted poor R-Truth and knocked him face-first into that wall. He was hot, for real hot. They were having to hold him back there. She made it look good.”

Update on Kenny Omega status ....

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Kenny Omega has already turned down a lucrative deal from WWE which included having his own YouTube video game series and paid more money than anyone on the roster not named Cena or Lesnar. Omega is expected to sign with All Elite Wrestling.
