WWE Reportedly Offers James Storm Low-Ball Figure
As seen on Tuesday’s live episode of Impact Wrestling, James Storm made his return to TNA. There were rumors on Sunday that he was set to return to the company, but Storm later denied those reports.

Ryan Satin reports that the reason Storm returned to the promotion had to do with money. He claims that WWE was only willing to offer him a deal that would bring him less than $100k a year.

While WWE offered him a low-ball figure, TNA was willing to pay him 2 1/2 times more. Storm would also a portion of his merchandise revenue. Storm reportedly signed for two more years.

TNA splashing that cash still.

Don't know if I'd consider it a low ball considering its doubtful he was ever in their main roster plans.

According to a report from PW Insider, John Cena has a shoulder injury that will require surgery, which is apparently scheduled for tomorrow. That's why he wasn't on Monday Night Raw this week and why he only cut a promo at the SmackDown taping last night.

What's more, the injury is reportedly significant enough -- possibly a torn rotator cuff -- that he'll need extensive recovery time. That means he's likely going to miss WrestleMania 32, where he was rumored to be working a match against Undertaker.

This would be the first WrestleMania Cena hasn't worked since 2003.

If his injury is similar to Randy Orton's, and that's the early indication, it's roughly a 6-to-9 month recovery time. This is Cena we're talking about, so that may not apply, or at least it hasn't in the past.

cena also tweeted about it.

Well make the the Royal Rumble more useless than it is now, especially with the title on the line. So if Reigns loses that makes him #1 contender for Mania so he can use his "rematch clause" lol.

Original Royal Rumble Plans for John Cena Revealed
Dave Meltzer reported on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that the original plan for John Cena heading into the Royal Rumble event was for Cena to face Alberto Del Rio for the WWE United States Championship.

Now that Cena is out of action with a shoulder injury, possibly up to six months, Kalisto is expected to work a program with Del Rio heading into the Royal Rumble event for the United States Championship. This is the reason Kalisto got the clean victory over Del Rio at Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings, because the company knew Cena was hurt.

Daniel Bryan: Can WWE Clear Me Already?!!
Daniel Bryan re-tweeted WWE’s article on AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows possibly signing with WWE. He also asked for the company to clear him, so he can return to action.

daniel bryan has been wanting a dream match with nakamura for a whole now. old roommates too. what are the odds aj and nakamura sign and join triple h? would be perfect to bring daniel bryan back to feud with nakamura and aj with roman.

i do have to say, as good as naku is, he may need an adjustment period. so if hes rough when he comes in, assuming it is on the main roster i hope they dont give up too early on him.

He's been cleared by doctors for months now, it's just WWE doctors who are refusing to clear him and that most likely has to come from the higher ups.

Triple H Likely to Win the Royal Rumble
It appears as though Triple H is in line to win the 2016 Royal Rumble Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

“It makes it real interesting. We know that Roman Reigns and Triple H is going to happen. But now, there’s the idea that Reigns beats 28 guys, then Triple H beats him to win the Rumble,” Dave Meltzer said after Raw on Wrestling Observer Radio.

Co-host Bryan Alvarez added, “Well, Vince did say Hunter was going to get his revenge and you weren’t going to see it coming.”
There’s always the possibility that Reigns and Hunter clash at Fastlane on Feb. 21, but the magnitude of WrestleMania 32 would factor into how this feud plays out.

The other idea for Reigns, would be that he wins the Rumble and retains his title. That would be a way to really put him over, although there has to be the fear that he could be rejected in the same way as last year.

He’s been on a superb run since November, getting over and really establishing himself as WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The creative has been very good, as have his match performances. WWE must be careful in their Rumble booking, they must ensure Reigns’ progress isn’t now squandered.

A match against Triple H at WrestleMania 32 feud would certainly be a good option. Reigns would likely be cheered against “The Game” and it would be a very good match.
LOL

he's been cleared to wrestle by independent doctors who Vince McMahon does not have on his payroll. They aren't keeping him out for health reasons, otherwise they never would have let Tommy Dreamer wrestle on their show recently.
