And then in 2014 sign Lebron to be their SF bam. Nice starting five. Irving/Waiters/Bron/Thompson/Len or Noel
stop it.

Noel supposedly dropping because of his entourage. I'm not surprised there were rumors around handlers surrounding him in HS.

Side note too..I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you Pistons fans. Joe D is supposedly praying that someone takes Burke before he's there at 8.

Tell me this isn't weird.  The Pels just sent out a press release announcing their draft party, and this is what it says word for word:

"The Pelicans have the #6 pick in this years draft and look to add to a roster that features #1 pick Anthony Davis, sharpshooter Ryan Anderson, and floor general Greivis Vasquez."

What's (or who) is missing?

Sad thing is I'd probably do that just to get rid of him

It's weird but I doubt PR knows something about a trade

I'd shed tears of happiness. The Pelicans/Hornets were already my 2k13 team.

Some Cavs writer who is known to throw shit on the wall and always be wrong says the Cavs may have something involving the #1 pick.

I'm about 90% sure that Noel will drop come draft night.  Way to many red flags.

I still like him a lot. In this draft, he's worth the risk.

And when Pope goes top 10, I'll take solice in knowing that I liked him when he was considered a late teens spect.

And even though I just said "in this draft", I still think this draft is underrated. I actually like it, like I've said before. Some underrated talent out there.

I mean don't get me wrong, I like him because he can do somethings that not everyone can do.  But, he isn't worth the #1 overall pick.

He has a injury history even before the ACL injury, has no offensive game and to compound that is a below average offensive rebounder, and really only has one particular skill and that is shot blocking.  He's a average rebounder, an overrated defender (watch him defend the post, it's bad), and doesn't have the frame to add a lot of weight.  I've heard people say don't buy into him playing at 220 for Kentucky because he was never 220 lbs.

And on top of that, seems like every NBA reporter has a stories about him that nobody wants to drop.  Something teams already know about and are very worried about.  Something to do with the guys he hangs out with.  He doesn't even have a agent yet because nobody has any idea how to get in touch with the people that are supposed to be representing him.  I heard he's blown off multiple agents, one particular guy was blown off six straight times.  He even blew off Lebrons team.  And that's only the root of the character concerns about him and his "buddies."

I think he's going to be a Theo Ratliff type guy in his prime.  12 or so points, 8 or so rebounds, 2 or 3 blocks, and those blocks will be mistaken for good defense when he's maybe slightly above average.
