cheeks also said he feels bk can play both guard spots and he doesnt view him as a "real" point guard but instead of full on dissing him he followed that up by saying thats what you need in this "new" nba.

if we take burke, bk will be a combo off the bench, i think. if that does happen, we better cut or try our hardest to move stuckey.

Is New Orleans considering a PG anymore? I feel like I read somewhere that they still have faith in Rivers. Plus Vasquez is not bad at all. I feel like passing on Len would be moronic. I also read Len is rising up the boards, that's why I said him.

Vasquez isn't really a PG, he played much better off the ball this past season.  So I think that's the first thing.

Secondly, I think they'll take BPA out of the PG's, SF's, and C's.  I do think they would take Len if he is there, but I doubt he would be.  I also think they really like Dario Saric and he's a more likely pick than Burke.

That's the one thing I like about Cheeks, I think he could be a GREAT mentor for MCW or Burke.

But yeah, I don't know what our plans for Knight would be. Or Stuckey. I don't think Stuckey is going to be on the roster on opening day, at least I hope not. Not buying him out for a fraction of the cost would be idiotic. He didn't preform to his contract, and I think that is why Dumars put in that buy-out option.

If we go with MCW, we could start Knight at SG because of MCW's height. But drafting Burke would have to delegate BK to the bench. That would have to be the shortest backcourt in the NBA.

I mean, he averaged 9 assists a game. His AST/TO wasn't that bad either.

Is Len rising that much? I think he will be there.
Also Saric withdrew didn't he?

i have a gut feeling this coming season will be even worse for our team, which isnt bad for this coming draft, but im so sick of this losing shit. dumars has sucked all of my nba drive. i cant even really watch a full game anymore.

I can't see it. Really the only way I see us being THAT BAD is if we take a back-up bigman with the pick. (AKA Zeller)
But I think Drummond will be a better player. Hopefully Knight becomes a bit more consistent. Feel like MCW or Burke will have a solid impact. And HOPEFULLY Dumars brings in a solid, starting FA.

I think we might have a solid shot for the 8th seed.

thats a lot of stuff going our way. so much more can go wrong. this team still has no direction, no real #1 option, we dont even have a #2 option. and its not like we can go out and sign a guy to give us 20ppg a night because there isnt one who is willing to come here.

That's why I am crossing my fingers that Burke falls. I think he could be a #1 option for us. Kind of how he was used at Michigan. Able to set up other when he wants, but knows when he needs to be the #1 guy. Dre can be the #2 though. Or even vise versa if Drummond progresses that much. Greg is a good #2 either way though.

I really like Burke if you can't tell lol.
Though I guess those assessments aren't too fair to give for a rookie lol.

Burke is not going to be able to get his shot off in the NBA.

i dont like the idea of a point guard being your #1 option unless hes like rose, deron, or westbrook, etc.

i still dont see drummond being a #1, i dont see him as that role for a few more years, if ever. greg needs to develop a killer instinct most of all, until then hes a good #3 most nights.

Well, that's why he wasn't a highly touted prospect going into college and now he is a lotto pick.

I think Shane Larkin could be a valuable scorer off the bench for someone if he could develop a nice floater.

Yeah but alot of people feel assists are inflated in that system.  It was only five game but Roberts averaged 10 assists per game as a starter.

And yes, Len is even in consideration for the #1 overall pick.  I wouldn't be shocked if he went before Noel.  He's a top 4 lock, imo.  And Saric hasn't withdrawn, yet.

I think he has the potential to be Nate Robinson-esque off the bench tbh

Len has everything you want in a big man, aside from the stress fracture.

Mobility, athletcism, decent looking jump shot, size, defensive upside, somewhat of a post game. His offensive game is certainly not polished, but major upside there.

His numbers weren't great at Maryland, but they had terrible guards.

Just have to hope his body holds up.

I love that there's gonna be a player in the NBA with the name Schröder on the back.

Celtics clearly want a SF/SG with their pick, but unless Bazz is there, the only ones there are reaches

And then in 2014 sign Lebron to be their SF bam. Nice starting five. Irving/Waiters/Bron/Thompson/Len or Noel

They could probably get some nice pieces in return for Carlito.
