Waiters is going 7...Holy crap from a guy in the 20s to a top 10 pick with 1 workout that only Ford saw.

He probably wont get much playing time until he actually puts some weight on.

Jason Maxiell's garbage ass will probably opt in. And for whatever reason, Frank likes him.

You said it yourself, you don't think he is going to be a fulltime starter or whatever lol.
yea but he is now. i just think four years down the road we could have signed a better option and hed be off the bench. but right now he is a starter. and if his offense rounds out and he does add 10 pounds of muscle then he would be a fulltime starter.

Like I said, he is a piece for a team who is a fringe contender. We don't need a John Henson right now. You know damn well we aren't going anywhere with John Henson.

we arent going anywhere right now but he helps us go in that direction. i think hes the better player out of him and drums. i just think drums can have the higher upside..but he may not hit that.

Lets just hope Dumars ends up with either one.

I'm thinking long term. They say Drummond will take a few years to pan out if he does, which means we will suck for a couple more years. There is no reason to now add a Henson, who could probably help us win games now yes, but will only give us a worst draft pick in the end.

If we take Drummond and he doesn't play well, we stay in the lottery and add more pieces next year, while we also have that cap space. And just hope Drummond does pan out (which could be a superstar). But to take Henson, and be just a little better, but not good enough, is completely pointless to me.
