Don't all rookie contracts have team options built in for like 3- 4 years?

What leverage does KP have?

zero right now

2015-16 (rookie) -- Under Contract
2016-17 (now) -- Under Contract
2017-18 -- Team Option (already exercised)
2018-19 -- Team Option
2019-2020 -- RFA + Qualifying Option

If KP wants out, he can sign the QO in June 2019, play out the year with the team (or be a bitch and hold out but i doubt it comes to that) and then be a UFA in 2020-21

"As the New York Knicks completed perfunctory season-ending meetings with Phil Jackson, league sources say that some players emerged perplexed over the contents of the conversations – which included game-show questions."

If he doesn't sign it then the Knicks will just match whatever he's offered. They'd be fucking stupid not to.

Holy shit, they probably won't match the offer.

He is not signing the QO
the question was what leverage does he have. if he doesn't want to be with the knicks until 2023 then that's his leverage -- to take the QO. i know its not going to happen

The Celtics roster isn't full, they unfortunately had to sacrifice RJ Hunter along the way. Can't forget that.

And it proves my point is that if you guys are down 2-0 against our full roster, beating us without our full roster doesnt deserve shit according to your logic
