We'd give up Melo without the pick being included..

Best case scenario we'd get a future Celtics 1st and thats best case scenario .. I've been seeing everywhere we want Crowder, so I'm sure the deal would be centered around him..

I haven't looked into contracts n all..but with how Phil has done everything he can to force Melo to want to leave .. we'd be lucky to get kind of return in a deal.

melo almost got traded for a package headlined by an expiring JJ Redick. not a chance in the world would Ainge give up the BKN pick
Honest question, would it be worth it to package Melo and #7 for #1? Knicks ain't getting the PG they need at 6 or 7.

DSJ has been slipping to 6 or even 7. If they get him they should be happy

Top 4 should be Fultz, Ball, Jackson, and Tatum.

So as long as one of Isaac/Monk/Ntilinka/Markannen goes 5th or 6th you should be fine to get Fox/Smith (provided you stay at 7). And I really doubt the Wolves would take a PG after selecting Dunn last year

The wolves love drafting point guards

Plus given that Dunn was trash this year and they're looking to move Rubio it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they drafted another PG

The involvement of ownership on player personnel moves varies widely throughout the NBA. Some allow their general managers to make decisions entirely on their own, while others offer their input on a regular basis.

Ownership will also consider the reactions from fans before signing off certain moves.

"One NBA executive told me a few years ago that hes heard of owners lurking on RealGM and Reddit to take the temperature of their fan bases before finalizing trades," writes Kevin O'Connor.

Certain trade rumors and articles suggesting a course of action for a team are often posted on RealGM and Reddit forums where a discussion then begins on its merits amongst fans.

Zach Lowe for the past two days has suggested a Crowder/Bradley/Sullinger/pick for Blake swap, and it's irritating how many people out there [in Boston] saying we are giving up too much.

ITS FOR BLAKE GRIFFIN!!
Imho that wouldn't make boston that much better even if he could stay healthy....it might make them worse tbh. Losing your best perimeter defenders and a top pick for a star who doesn't shoot jumpers at a high level isn't a great trade off. You also lose two good 3 pt shooters. I don't see that starting lineup being very good without bradley and crowder. You'll have big holes at sg and sf. You guys can get Griff without doing all of that. Better off dealing both the picks and lesser talented players for Griff. But I wouldn't go for him nonetheless. There are some other options out there.

Some really smart minds behind that one.

The way the lines merge with each other to the left and right of the wordmark is kinda less accurate if you look at a basketball
