Honest question, would it be worth it to package Melo and #7 for #1? Knicks ain't getting the PG they need at 6 or 7.bosoxlover12 said:melo almost got traded for a package headlined by an expiring JJ Redick. not a chance in the world would Ainge give up the BKN pick

Imho that wouldn't make boston that much better even if he could stay healthy....it might make them worse tbh. Losing your best perimeter defenders and a top pick for a star who doesn't shoot jumpers at a high level isn't a great trade off. You also lose two good 3 pt shooters. I don't see that starting lineup being very good without bradley and crowder. You'll have big holes at sg and sf. You guys can get Griff without doing all of that. Better off dealing both the picks and lesser talented players for Griff. But I wouldn't go for him nonetheless. There are some other options out there.bosoxlover12 said:Zach Lowe for the past two days has suggested a Crowder/Bradley/Sullinger/pick for Blake swap, and it's irritating how many people out there [in Boston] saying we are giving up too much.
ITS FOR BLAKE GRIFFIN!!
