The Magic informed Dwight Howard that they are suspending trade talks, according to source. Orlando will now focus on their coaching search.

as if theyre going to hire a coach that will make him stay. i would just deal him and let hire the coach after so they can focus on the new team.

If Dwight Howard isn't traded by the Magic during the offseason, the Nets would be interested in revisiting trade talks centered around Brook Lopez when he becomes eligible to be traded on January 15th.

Lopez is expected to sign a new with the Nets now that Orlando has suspended Howard trade negotiations.

The Magic have suspended Dwight Howard trade talks as they search for their next head coach, according to sources.

Orlando had been engaged in trade talks with the Nets, Lakers and Rockets on a trade involving Howard.

Rob Hennigan informed Howard that the Magic attempted to make a deal, but none of the offers met the team's asking price.

Brian Shaw, Mike Malone, Lindsey Hunter and Jeff Hornacek are amongst the candidates to become the next head coach of Orlando.

The Nets were up against a deadline in their negotiations for Howard due to the unresolved free agency of Brook Lopez and Kris Humphries.

I hear that the Magic are actually still talking with the Nets about a trade despite previous reports.

It's crazy how much a player can dictate an entire team. I actually really like Van Gundy as a coach. He has a great track record with Orlando.

Magic GM supposedly called up Dwight yesterday and tried to convince him to stay in Orlando. Dwight might as well have given him the middle finger.

I'm pretty sure the Magic are getting real close to trading him. Its just about finding the best deal, which I think will come from Houston.

Houston is still in the chase for Dwight lol
They just amnestied Luis Scola.

I'm assuming in the deal, Dwight, Hedo, and JRich would head to Houston, with expiring Kevin Martin + young pieces + picks to Orlando.
