Its sounding like the Magic aren't to sure about taking on a big contract, even if that means Lopez or Bynum.

And I just read the Rockets really don't want Bynum, and still just want Dwight.

It sounds like they want to get a deal done though, which is good. I heard they don't want to wait past the weekend.

bynum is the clear second best center in the league and as the focal point of an offense and working with mchale could make him better. idiots.

I'm sure they'd take Bynum, but for all the stuff they'd be giving to Orlando to make the deal appealing to them, they'd want Dwight back, not watching him go to LA in a 3 team deal.

you act like the league is filled with bynums and dwights. playing out of position and being 6'10 still isnt an argument you can use.

I'm just saying, Horford plays harder than Bynum. Dude has more heart point blank. Bynum is nice but if I'm looking at dealing Dwight I'm taking

Horford, Teague, Picks over just Bynum hands down

bynum is the second best center in the league. if he had his own team where he was the number one option i dont think youre going to see the little issues he had this past season. i would not take that package.

You'd get one year of the second best center in the league, if that's what you want you mine as well keep Howard. On the other hand you get a young all-star to build around as well as a athletic PG with plenty potential to work with. I really don't see why bynum would be the better choice in the Magic's situation.

and Horford would also be a number one option for them.. He can score inside and out in midrange consistently...

Why does it matter if Horford plays out of position? Orlando wants a replacement center, so he'd still play C

The list of starting C's in the league isn't impressive. It's not filled with big bruising type guys. You could really start a nice sized four at the five now on every team.

Tony Mejia: #Magic re-visiting, giving #Nets the yes/no they’ve asked for Lopez sake. Up to Hennigan, who addresses media @ 4. Status quo for poker game for now

Brooklyn’s fully guaranteed the first 4 years, $58M of a max deal offer for Brook Lopez, sources tell Y! Sides still discussing 5th year.
Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA
This is Brooklyn’s way to stave off Lopez signing an offer sheet elsewhere, and crushing a sign-and-trade possibility for Dwight Howard.
Jason McLaed ‏@InsiderJayNBA

Another reason for the rush, B. Lopez has max offer sheet from unknown team on thetable, won’t wait more than 24 hrs.

I saw one of the insiders say that Portland and Houston were in on him too, Houston more to force the Nets out of the Dwight sweepstakes than anything though
